The objective of this presentation was to research a career that I am interested in. I chose to do my research on physicians and surgeons. In this presentation, I discuss a brief history of the profession, roles of this job, specialities within the field, education required, job outlook, and skills necessary.

In my global health course, we discussed the millennium development goals, which are goals established by the United Nations Member States that are targeted to be achieved by 2015. This presentation overviews the seventh millennium development goal, ensure environmental sustainability.

Alzheimer's Disease
My human health and disease course required us to create a presentation on a disease of our choice. We selected to do Alzheimer's Disease (AD). This powerpoint describes symptoms, prevention strategies, ways to relieve symptoms, and details the 7 stages of AD.

I conducted an informational interview with Dr. Tuan Nguyenduy because I am interested in his field of work, cardiothoracic surgery. I was able to learn more about this area of specialty from his detailed responses of his work.
LITERATURE REVIEW PAPER:
Physical Activity Among Children
This literature review discusses the importance of physical activity among children. This health behavior is a large determinant of many health problems. In this paper, I describe health problems related to physical inactivity, discuss health behavior theories, and suggest intervention strategies.
ETHICS PAPER:
The Ethics of Euthanasia
This assignment required me to examine an ethical issue within healthcare. I researched euthanasia and posed both sides of the argument, pro and anti euthanasia, within this paper. In concluding the paper, I use my own judgement to create an ethical decision.
